Man faces charges after fatal pedestrian accident

Imagine if a person driving a vehicle struck a pedestrian and continued on his or her way. For the most part, people would be in shock that something like that happened. Most people would stop immediately and render aid.

That doesn’t always happen, though. If a driver leaves the scene without helping the victim, he or she could face a charge for a hit-and-run, as well.

A driver in Denver has been arrested following the death of a pedestrian. According to the May 30 report, the 22-year-old driver struck a 59-year-old man close to the intersection of South Bryant Street and West Evans Avenue. It was around 12:45 a.m.

The man fled following the crash. Shortly thereafter, a Medina Alert was issued asking the public to watch out for and report any red Chevy sedans.

This man is being investigated now. He is accused of drunk driving and causing an accident involving death, driving without proof of insurance and driving without a valid driver’s license.

In this case, the authorities have not released any information on why they believe the man is the person behind the crash. There is no information on the DUI or other allegations.

If you’re accused of a crime, it’s important for someone to thoroughly question the authorities for you. Your attorney can help protect you by exploring what the prosecution does or does not know. The last thing anyone wants is a case of a mistaken identity, so it’s a very good idea to work with a defense attorney who can protect you in the case of any allegations against you.
